Google Pixel 7 Pro review: Battery life
Battery life on the Google Pixel 6 Pro was a complete mess. While it was manageable for some, it wasn’t fantastic for others. While we did mention in our evaluation that it was below average for us, over time it just became worse. The battery life was awful, and the phone would constantly throttle and overheat. It is undoubtedly more of a mixed bag with the Google Pixel 7 Pro, but we are much more capable of handling it than we were with the previous generation. While there are still some issues with battery life that need to be worked out (for instance, the display consumes an excessive amount of energy at increased brightness), it has been far better than the model from the previous year.
