How to book Train Tickets with IRCTC PayLater Service – Guide
Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) now allows users to book Indian Railways tickets free of charge. Yes, you read that right, but you have to pay the train ticket later. IRCTC has introduced a new policy called the Book Now, Pay Later service. First you just need to login to your IRCTC account and then enter your travel details to book a ticket. When accessing the payment page, you will find the option “Pay later”. By clicking on this option, you will be redirected to ePayLater. You will then need to log in to the e-Pay Later website using your registration phone number, after which you will receive an OTP. Your registration is successful if you enter the OTP correctly. According to the e-Pay Later website, users have 14 days from the date of their transaction to settle their payment with us. “Without having to pay at the time of booking or entering lengthy bank details, your IRCTC experience will be seamless and secure,” the company explained. You can now easily book tickets on IRCTC with the e-Pay Later option. The new service applies to both reserved and Tatkal tickets, according to the IRCTC. The new service will help those who don’t have the money to pay when booking a train ticket. Please note that this new way of paying for e-tickets is available via ePayLater. Tatkal bookings for AC and non-AC start at 10:00 and 11:00, respectively, the day before the actual trip. The Tatkal reserve does not allow concessions. The main benefit to be gained from the new service is the reduction of delays in booking tickets, as customers do not experience payment gateway failures.
