While some apps offer their own implementation of dark mode, as well as some custom Android operating systems, many features have been added since the release of Android 10, including system-wide dark theme. While system-wide dark mode is only available on Android 10 and newer versions, users running older versions of the operating system can still enable dark mode in the Google Play Store app. Just follow the same steps as above to access the themes menu and select your preferred theme from the pop-up.up. Please note that the “System Default” option will not be available as the system-wide dark mode is not supported on Android 9 and earlier.
