How does storage sense work?
Storage sense checks your system for old and unused files and actively deletes them on a regular schedule. For example, if you have files in your Recycle Bin for more than 30 days, you don’t need to manually delete them feature will help to ensure. Storage sense removes old files from the Recycle Bin The same goes for the temporary files and for the old files that are in the Downloads folder. In a nutshell, Microsoft has cleverly merged the old Disk Cleanup feature and the Delete temporary files feature, and made the process a breeze. How to Enable and adjust storage sense
Step 1: Go to Settings> System and click Storage.
Alternatively, you can press Windows key + Q for Cortana and type Storage. Step 2: Once inside, flip the switch on for storage feel. By default this is feature takes care of only temporary files and old files in the Recycle Bin.
Step 3: To choose the option to clean up the Downloads folder, click the Change how we are free up space link. This will take you to the Configurations page.
Now you just have to check the third option and you are sorted. From now on, the system automatically keeps the waste stack up process under control. Note: If you have some large files waiting to be deleted, but the 30-day time limit has not been exceeded, you still need to delete them manually.

Most of us usually store our files and folders in a default folder. In my case, whatever file it is, be it a document, audio file or video file, they are all stored in the C: to drive. You can really understand the condition of the drive in a few months.
Fortunately, you can change the disk for any file type. Navigate to Settings> Storage and click the Change where new content is saved link. Now all you have to do is change the location for the file types and click Apply.
