How to Install Custom ROM on Any Xiaomi / Redmi MIUI Device – Guide

Stock ROM updates come in two formats for all Xiaomi, Mi and Redmi smartphones: Recovery ROM and Fastboot ROM. As the name suggests, Recovery ROMs need to be installed via recovery or via local update method while Fastboot ROMs need to be installed via Fastboot using the MiFlash tool. Every smartphone comes with a pre-installed ROM or user interface.
