Still, privacy concerns have been raised, including Google’s motivation to build the service, as well as its relationship with governments and potential laws requiring Google to turn over a user’s entire photo history. How to move photos from Gmail to Google Photos
When you receive an email with a JPEG photo attachment, you can save it to Google Photos in two ways. Subsequent saves will not come with this dialog. They will just save to Photos. If you hover over the photo again, you’ll see that the icon has changed to a Google Photos logo with a checkmark. If you click on this checkmark, you will be taken to Google Photos to see the photo.
