Search for Remove Duplicates and install it. The add-on is ready to use in seconds. Once installed, select the appropriate cells and go to Add-ons -> Remove Duplicates. This will open a multi-step popup menu that already takes your selection into account.

Using the unique function
With this method you will leave a few blank rows where your data is and enter the function “= UNIQUE ()”. After opening the parenthesis, select the cells you want to filter. You can also select rows. Close the parenthesis and press Enter.
You just made a copy of the data you had, except that no repeating values are included. Now delete the previous rows / cells and you are done.
